Privacy Policy

P-Supp (also called Pippy) is a diagnostic assistant built by Standard Power Washing LLC for pressure-washer technicians. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

• Account data — your username, email, full name, and (for password accounts) a salted bcrypt hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
• Diagnostic conversations — the questions you ask Pippy, the answers it returns, the equipment context you provide, and any photos you upload. These are stored so you can save and revisit them, and so we can improve the assistant.
• Usage data — daily query counts, login times, IP address (kept short-term for abuse prevention), and basic request metadata.
• Field tips and feedback — anything you submit through the in-app feedback or tip forms.

Why we collect it

• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To answer your diagnostic questions accurately by giving Pippy your conversation history.
• To enforce per-user query limits on the free tier.
• To improve the assistant — admins review answers and add corrections that make future answers better.

Who we share it with

• Anthropic — your messages are sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI) so Pippy can answer. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.
• Supabase — if you sign in with Google, Supabase handles the OAuth dance and stores your authentication identity.
• Google — if you use Google sign-in, Google receives a sign-in request and returns your basic profile to us.
• Resend — sends transactional email (verification, password reset).
• Railway — hosts the application and the PostgreSQL database.
• We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing to third parties.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. Diagnostic conversations are kept indefinitely so you can revisit saved diagnostics and so we can improve the assistant; we may anonymize older conversations for research. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal identifiers (name, email, username) within 30 days; anonymized conversation data may be retained for product improvement.

Your choices

• You can update your name and email in your account at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account by emailing support@psupp.ai.
• You can opt out of receiving non-essential email by replying to any P-Supp email.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds). All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Bearer tokens are short-lived (90 days, sliding) and stored only in your browser session. We do our best to keep your data safe but no online service is perfectly secure.

Children

P-Supp is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the product changes. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
